A friend of mine has for some time been prodding me to set up this blog as a means of creating a community of bloggers interested in the study of the insurance industry in Iraq.
I have written a number of papers, in Arabic and English, on various aspects of insurance activity in Iraq and hope to be able to post them on this blog. Some of these papers have already been published in insurance and other journals but these are not readily accessible. Once they are posted an opportunity will be created for public discussion.
I am addressing this message to my collegaues in Iraq with whom I have worked between 1968-1977.
I welcome comments in Arabic or English.
